Warrington women's second team got their first points on the board in Division 4 with a 1-0 win over Neston 3s. Becky Miller put Warrington ahead and Jennifer Herst secured the win by saving a penalty flick. The first team found it tougher going against Neston 2s, losing 6-0 despite committed defending from Sally Prince and Carrie Wright. Men's first team keeper Roger Parr helped Wales Over 65s to win the Celtic Cup. Wales beat France 9-0, Scotland 2-0 and Ireland 2-0, meaning Parr didn't concede a goal all tournament. The men's first team put in an outstanding performance against a strong Ormskirk team in the Lancashire Cup. For long periods Warrington's defenders Noal Phillpotts and Erdosi Botond frustrated Ormskirk's attack, but they found themselves 2-0 down at half time. Warrington pulled one back through the tireless efforts of Chris Lyon before they conceded another to seal their fate.
