Warrington went behind to an own goal early in the second half and managed to pull level with an equaliser from captain Steve Worrall. The men's second team equalised against Horwich through a great individual goal from Adam Garrodd. Richard Bloomfield kept Warrington in the game with some crucial saves but Horwich's experience in Division 5 shone through as they ran out 3-1 winners. The women's second team lost 6-2 at Deeside with Molly Rudd scoring two consolation goals for the visitors.
