Warrington women’s second team smashed in the goals to secure a 6-1 win away at Chester 4ths. Their new formation helped them work the ball out from the back and create chance after chance. Molly Rudd bagged a brace while Vicky Stout, Jess Palmer, Emma Frew and Jenny Fox all found the back of the net. The men’s first team weren’t quite on their game as they drew 2-2 with Kirby Lonsdale firsts. Captain Steve Worrall pulled them level and Adam Garrod put them ahead, but the couldn’t hold onto their lead despite great defending from Andy Powell. The women’s first team were disappointed to slip to a 1-0 defeat against Chester 2nds after missing chances in the first half to put themselves ahead. The men’s second team put in a strong first half performance as AJ Edwards netted to go in 1-1 against City of Manchester 3rds. Fitness told in the second half as City of Manchester rattled in 4 goals.
