Goalkeeper Roger Parr was the hero for Warrington men's seconds, diving low to his right to save a penalty flick with 2 minutes to go, securing their first win of the season against Golborne seconds. Rich Hannibal scored the only goal of the game while Nick Bottomley was outstanding racing up and down in midfield. Sally Fraser and Steph Rawlins were involved in some great passing moves up the left as the women's first team put in a great performance at Northop Hall. They couldn't capitalise on the string of chances they created and were hit twice on the break to lose 2-0. The women’s second team were unlucky to lose 2-1 against Alderley Edge fifths and the men's first team went down 3-1 at Keswick.
