Match report 21/01/17

Warrington men's second team match against Didsbury 6ths was the club's only game to survive the cold weather. After a couple of early goals from promotion chasers Didsbury, Warrington raised their game and started to create some chances of their own through AJ Edwards and Rich Hannibal. Steve Fiddy and Player of the Match Billy Gilbert defended heroically putting in a series of crucial tackles, but the gulf between the two teams was clear as Didsbury scored from precisely placed drag flicks and finished 6-0 winners. Warrington will look to build on their spirited performance as they take on Urmston at Priestley College at 2.15pm on Saturday 28th January.
