Match reports 25/02/17

Warrington men's second team got a much needed win to move to within two points of their opposition Fylde seconds and keep their hopes of avoiding relegation alive. Going a goal down early on spurred Warrington into action with Rich Hannibal scoring twice in quick succession to put them ahead. Doug Samuels extended the lead before half time and Player of the Match Chris Ashworth made it safe with a calm finish after Hannibal's shot had hit a Fylde foot. The women's first team moved up to 8th with a 1-0 win over Macclesfield firsts. Player of the Match Jayne Buck got the goal when Sally Fraser picked her out with a visionary cross from the left. Olivia Mason slotted in well to the defence and worked with Sarah Milner to ensure Warrington preserved their lead. The men's first team lost 3-0 away to Fylde firsts while the women's seconds got a walkover when Wrexham conceded to them.
