Warrington men's first team beat Bolton 2nds 4-2 with a hat-trick from Adam Garrod and a goal for Matt Petitt. The women's first team battled hard against a young and skillful Deeside seconds but couldn't emerge with a point despite an outstanding defensive performance from Player of the Match Carrie Wright. Warrington created a series of chances in the first half as Meg Sutch, Sally Froggatt and Hannah Johnson all came close to scoring before Deeside went ahead. Jayne Buck and Louise Sullivan combined to set up Sally Fraser for the equaliser, but that only spurred Deeside into action and they scored twice more to win 3-1. The women's seconds lost 3-0 a well organised Brooklands third team who had come down from division 2 the previous year. Warrington's back line of Vicky Stout, Olivia Mason and Celina McElevey defended strongly and went into the half time break at just 1-0 down. The midfield team worked hard throughout the game, with centre mid Laura Page picking up player of the match. Amy Quayle went close to pulling one back for Warrington in the second half but Brooklands continued to press and scored two more to make it 3-0 at the full time whistle.
