Warrington men's firsts dominated against Bolton seconds, going ahead after only a few minutes through Ben Vickers and beating them 3-1. Roger Parr made a crucial save from a penalty flick by diving low to his right to keep Warrington ahead before Adam Garrod scored twice to secure the win. The men's seconds achieved a hard earned three points and clean sheet away at Llandudno. A flurry of missed chances including a penalty flick sent them into half time at 0-0. Noal phillpotts continued his scoring streak with a beautiful strike from a well delivered short corner to break the deadlock. From then on Warrington moved up a couple of gears and sealed the game when Dan Sutton and Chris Lyon linked up down the right wing to sey up Iain Richards at the near post.
The women's teams had another tough weekend with a host of key players missing through injury. The first team lost 3-0 at home to a well drilled Deeside, despite the tireless running of Kate Connolly and Meg Sutch in midfield and some crucial tackles from Carrie Wright. The women's seconds gave it everything against Brooklands but couldn't avoid a 4-1 defeat. Olivia Mason, Jenny Fox and Vicky Stout were fantastic in defence and keeper Tracy Jackson was awarded Player of the Match for helping to keep the score down.
